Welcome to the Joseph Van Os Photo Safaris on-line Tour Participant Photo Galleries. Please read all guidelines
and instructions prior to submitting photos. Compliance with all guidelines and instructions is essential. We are sorry,
but no exceptions to these guidelines will be made.

1. ELIGIBILITY
- Photos will only be accepted from Joseph Van Os Photo Safaris tour participants.
- Only photos taken on Photo Safaris starting 1/1/2000, or thereafter, will be accepted.
2. SUBMISSIONS

- Each tour participant may submit up to three photos for each tour on which they've participated.
- Please note: Due to limitations of our mail server, submissions of more than three images, or images in file sizes larger than allowed by our specifications (see Specifications section below) may be deemed ineligible for display.
- If submitting photographs for more than one tour, please send each tour submission separately.
- Submitted photos must have been taken on Photo Safaris that took place during the time frame outlined in the Eligibility section.
- Once submitted, images may be removed at the request of the submitting participant, but they cannot be changed or replaced with different photos at a later date. Please choose your photo submissions carefully!
- If a non-photographing spouse or partner accompanied you on a Photo Safari, you may not submit additional photos under your name simply because your travel partner did not shoot. We do this to avoid the appearance of one participant getting preferential treatment by having more than one image displayed in a gallery.
- IMPORTANT: The photos you submit must be your own! Submitting a photo for which you do not own the copyright is a violation of US and international copyright laws. In the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any copyright infringement, Joseph Van Os Photo Safaris, Inc. will fully cooperate with all legal authorities to facilitate copyright enforcement.
- Upon submission of photos to Joseph Van Os Photo Safaris, Inc. for publication, you subsequently agree not to hold JVOPS responsible for any unauthorized use or reproduction of your images, or consequent damages caused as a result of the images being displayed on the photosafaris.com or related websites.
3. SELECTING IMAGES

Please choose your best tour images for submission. Consider all elements of a photo (composition, subject matter,
exposure, scanned image quality, etc) when selecting submission.

We highly recommend that you choose photo submissions from completed scans rather than eyeballing them from slides
or prints. Because your photos will ultimately be displayed on computer screens, it is recommended that you view your
images on your computers monitor, (using the display dimensions outlined in the Specifications section below) to select
your best photos. This will provide the best means for seeing how your image will be displayed and viewed on-line.

Past experience with our post-tour CD projects has shown that some of the most interesting images we receive are not
always the most obvious choices of subject matter. Consider photos of subjects that may show your unique photographic
vision and that may not have been seen or photographed by other tour participants, or that are in some other way unique.
We want variety!
